Driving Directions

A) From Bridgeport CT, New York City and Points West;
From New Jersey and Points South:

• Take I-95 NORTH to EXIT NO. 30 (Lordship Blvd./Rte. 113), which is the Sikorsky Memorial Airport exit.
• At the end of the ramp bear RIGHT and proceed onto Lordship Blvd./Rte. 113. You will see seven (7) sets of traffic lights (some may be a steady green or blinking yellow). The first set is before the Shell gas station and the seventh is after the Duchess fast-food restaurant and by the wetlands.
• At the seventh traffic light you will continue STRAIGHT onto Access Road and you will notice that the airport property is on your right.
• When you come to the end of Access Road, you will turn RIGHT at the traffic light onto Main Street.
• As you proceed south on Main Street, you will eventually see the airport on your right.
• As you slow down around the sharp bend at the second runway, you will now be driving on Stratford Road.
• St. Joseph’s Church and Cemetery is another 1000 feet on the right-hand side.

B) From Milford CT, Rhode Island and Points East:

• Take I-95 SOUTH to EXIT 31 (South Ave.), there is a stop sign at the end of the ramp.
• Turn LEFT onto South Avenue and proceed under I-95 to the stop sign.
• Continue STRAIGHT on South Avenue to the traffic light at Main Street.
• Turn RIGHT onto Main Street, you will now be driving south.
• As you proceed south on Main Street, you will eventually see the airport on your right.
• As you slow down around the sharp bend at the second runway, you will now be driving on Stratford Road.
• St. Joseph’s Church and Cemetery is another 1000 feet on the right-hand side.

C) From Shelton CT and Points North on Route 8:

• From Route 8 SOUTH take Route 110 South, which is Howe Avenue; Rte. 110 continues South on River Road.
• Continue along River Road into Stratford; Rte. 110 South becomes Main Street in Stratford.
• Continue on Rte. 110 along Main Street under Rte. 15; you will then drive along the Housatonic River to the bottom of the hill and then up another hill.
• At the Mill River Country Club you will come to the traffic light at the junction of Routes 110 and 113.
• Proceed STRAIGHT on Main Street, you will now be following Rte. 113 through the center of town all the way into the Lordship section of Stratford.
• As you proceed south on Main Street, you will eventually see the airport on your right.
• As you slow down around the sharp bend at the second runway, you will now be driving on Stratford Road.
• St. Joseph’s Church and Cemetery is another 1000 feet on the right-hand side.

D) From New York State on I-84:

• Take I-84 East to EXIT NO. 9, there is a stop sign at the end of the ramp.
• Turn RIGHT and proceed to the traffic light at the junction of Route 25.
• Turn LEFT onto Rte. 25 SOUTH to Bridgeport, Conn.; you will pass through the town of Newtown, the village of Stepney and the town of Monroe, and the town of Trumbull before reaching Bridgeport.
• Rte. 25 South merges with Rte. 8 South and they end at the junction of I-95.
• Follow the signs to I-95 NORTH to New Haven, Conn.
• Take I-95 NORTH to EXIT NO. 30 (Lordship Blvd./Rte. 113), which is the Sikorsky Memorial Airport exit.

E) From Hartford CT, Massachusetts and Points North on I-91:

• Take I-91 SOUTH to EXIT NO. 17 (Rte. 15 South/W. Cross Pkwy.) and continue on Route 15 South, which is the Wilbur Cross Parkway to Bridgeport and New York City. (The Wilbur Cross becomes the Merritt Parkway at the Housatonic River in Stratford and remains as Rte. 15.)
• At EXIT NO. 54 on Rte. 15 South, follow the signs for the connector to I-95.
• Exit the connector at the sign for I-95 SOUTH to Bridgeport and New York City.
• Take I-95 SOUTH to EXIT 31 (South Ave.), there is a stop sign at the end of the ramp.
• Turn LEFT onto South Avenue and proceed under I-95 to the stop sign.
• Continue STRAIGHT on South Avenue to the traffic light at Main Street.
• Turn RIGHT onto Main Street, you will now be driving south.
• As you proceed south on Main Street, you will eventually see the airport on your right.
• As you slow down around the sharp bend at the second runway, you will now be driving on Stratford Road.
• St. Joseph's Church and Cemetery is another 1000 feet on the right-hand side.

F) From Boston MA and Points Northeast:

• Take I-90 to I-84
• Proceed on I-84 WEST to Hartford, Connecticut
• Follow signs to I-91 SOUTH over the Charter Oak Bridge
• Proceed over bridge and merge onto I-91 SOUTH towards New Haven
• Take I-91 SOUTH to EXIT NO. 17 (Rte. 15 South/W. Cross Pkwy.) and continue on Route 15 South, which is the Wilbur Cross Parkway to Bridgeport and New York City. (The Wilbur Cross becomes the Merritt Parkway at the Housatonic River in Stratford and remains as Rte. 15.)
